Review of death certificate dated 6/26/98 shows 1820 birthdate. In view of Milton's input, I now suspect that I have the wrong "Minie" Schmidt. I will convert the death date to MIlton's date.

Died at home. Have no cause. Buried Union Cemetary.

Between Milton and I we have identified a "province" called Sondershausen-Swartzburg which existed in the first half of the 1800's. There is a town called Sondershausen, which Milton says was the capital. There may not be a town called Swartzburg.
