Naturalization papers on file. Show entrance at Baltimore in May 1870. Cannot locate his entrance in Baltimore arrival records in Dallas library.

1900 census shows occupation as Woodcarver. Living 809 15th Street, which he owns by mortgage.

According to directories for Milwaukee: Henry first appears in 1885 at 709 Mineral. In 1886 he moves to 982 Orchard. Then in 1887 he moves to 853 Greenfield where he stays until 1893. In 1893 he moves to 809 15th Ave.

In 1892 the last name changes to Pawlat for a while. In 1894 he starts using Ignatz instead of Henry. In 1900 Pavlat returns.

He shows himself as a laborer until 1891, when he is a carpenter. From then on he mutates between laborer, carpenrter, and doormaker.

Pavlat, Ignatz H., 1626 S 31st, died Mar 10 age 81. Beloved husband of Alvina (nee Skudera), father of Mrs. Mamie Keltner, Charles Pavlat, Mrs. Helen Sharp, Joseph Pavlat, Mrs. Clara Jameson, and Mrs. Mollie Washicheck. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 daughters-in-law, 3 sons-in-law, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.

Funeral Sat 3/13 from Alstadt Funeral Home 1502 S Layton at 8:45am to St. Wenceslaus Church S 14th and W Scott. Internment at Mount Olivet. Knights of St. Wenceslaus will hold vigil Friday 8pm at Alstadt. Will be in state Friday after 1pm.
