1900 census show birth in JUN 1815! This difference is similar to change in Wilhelmine's age in her death certificate. Why this change in age? Children would have been born very late in life!

1858-60 city directories show a tailor boarding with Ernst Beschel at 270 E Water. He then moved to the German House on 4th between Prairie and Chesnut. Staying at the same house, his profession changes to Painter. This occupation carries thru 1870 and 1880 census.

Marriage record shows occupation Cooper and birthplace as "Jecha Swartburg H.H." Marriage was a religious ceremony.
