1926: Harold shows up on Fairfield Woods Road. This seems to be a family enclave. Also at the same location are Judson (no wife) and William (Minnie L.). Harold shows no wife. He is employed by Underwood Typewriter. Williams is shown as a Blacksmith. William and Minnie are his parents.
1927: Harold is a Service Manager at UT. Judson now shows a wife Janet. Williams and Minnie are still there, as are now Arnold J and William H [Florence B]. At least William H also works at UT.
1928: Harold [Elsie] now live 981 William where he is a Mechanic
1929-30: these two years show Harold and Elsie at 4 Roselle in Fairfield. He is still listed as a Mechanic.
1931: Harold W is salesman with Remington Arms, living 65 Scofield.
1932-34: Harold moves to 444 Division. Still selling for Remington Arms.
1935-37: Harold is a Machinist for Remington Rand
1938-44: Harold and Elsie move to 1089 Fairfield Woods. He is Head Inspector for Remington Rand.
1944-50: Harold is Branch Maintenance Manager
1951: Harold Jr starts with Remingrton in maint/repair.
1952-53: Jr is in the Army
1954: Jr is back as Service Tech, David is a Student.
1955-56: David is in Air Force. Harold Sr is now Assembler for Bullard's.
1957: no listing! There is a school at the Fairfield Woods location.
1958-59: Harold Sr back with Remington as a lab tech. He and Elsie in Trumbull on Roosevelt Drive.
1960-80: Stopped following. Elsie still on Roosevelt in 1980. She has a big business and lots of kids. Harold died of Lung Cancer. Usual occupation listed as Branch Manager Remington Rand.
