10 OCT 1930 a land contract in which Alice Kingston sold 16 81/100 acres of land in Big Bend to Charles P Washicheck and his wife Minnie Charles would pay $5000 for this land - $1000 at closing and $500 twice a year at 6% interest the description of the land is complex and was not transcribed in my notes. The description involves many spans at various angles describing a complex area but I think it is roughly a curving sweep of land vaguely like a quarter of a torus or donut. the land is called "The Springs" because it contains artesian springs of historical significance (see associated articles) 12 53/100 acres are in SW 1/4 of Section 24 T05NR19E 4 28/100 acres are in NW 1/4 of Section 24 T05NR19E 16 FEB 1932 a warrenty deed was filed indicating completion of the purchase terms 18 FEB 1932 Charles and Minnie tranferred the property to his brother Jerome.
