Notes on Martin Christensen |
| Martin Christensen - County Treasurer for 10 years. Born 21 JAN 1870 in Union Grove of Chris Christensen, a mason contractor who died in 1873, and Anna Christensen, who died the year after. Taken into the home of N M Christensen, a farmer of Raymond, where he grew to manhood. Served on the Great Lakes as a seaman for 9 years. Then settled on the boyhood farm. In 1912 he came to Racine City. Member of Lutheran Church. |
