Alvin Cook, age 82, 411 Prairie St,
a resident of Portage County for many years

A native of Dodge County, Mr. Cook was born 22 May 1858. He spent his childhood there and then located in Portage County where he spent most of his time since. He was father of four children by his first marriage. His first wife died 55 years ago. A daughter, Mrs. Odin Ostness of Chicago, survives. Mr. Cook was later married to Ella Reeves, who died in 1932. They were parents of one child that died in infancy. His marriage to Louise Herbert of Green Bay took place on 22 FEB 1936. Surviving are his wife, the one daughter, 6 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. |
