My father was not fired by my uncle but quit. I was I college and helped out at the firm and know the details. The firm was losing contracts. My uncle and he were both going to work at lower salaries and my dad quit. Also my story is incorrect. I graduated with a major on fine arts and a major in European history from Carroll university in Waukesha wi which I attended on full scholarship. I was the first woman in the family to attend and graduate from college. I went on to graduate school in art history and art education at the university of Wisconsin milwaukee and attended the ecole des beaux arts in Paris for a year. I worked as a teacher for several years and moved to California and met my first husband. Then I worked at social security for 25 years. I also have designed jewelry and other art work which is currently being sold through a shop in Amsterdam. I and my second husband travel extensively to France as we have relatives on his side living there. I am still active in art and in education as I tutor for esl children.

My mom and her half brother tom reconciled several years before her death and he had flown out several times to visit her before her death. Because I kept in touch with tom my uncle my brother has not spoken to me since my mom died. Also when our father bill was alive he never spent much time with him and pretty much was ashamed of my dad. My dad was actually a kind person who always read to me when I was a child which is quite unusual in the forties for the male parent. My mom always favored my brother and my dad me. My dad and I had a special relationship and I spent many hours with him after the stroke playing cards and watching sports with him. One of the highlights of his life was a trip we took to pebble beach so he could play a round of golf there. He was loud but not a boastful person. He was actually a great guy.

Sorry my brother gave such a weird thing. He hardly mentioned me at all if you noticed

And it's Susanne. I changed when I remarried as it was always meant to be that but was spelled incorrect on my birth record. My baptismal document had the spelling I use today.
