I originally had George dying in the US 1874-1876 - maybe in Mosel. I believe I got this info from Ancestry.com trees. I no longer believe this to be true. He would be 95 years at death - quite unusual for the 1870s. I found no immigration or naturalization info. His sons came over separately. I found no census records for him in 1860 or 1870. I searched all of Mosel in 1860.
