For Nanna Ingeborg Moberg, immigration was a two step process. She first left Gothenburg, Sweden, March 03, 1920 aboard the S S Stockholm and sailed for New York. She arrived on March 16, 1920, and declared herself in transit to meet her brother Gustaf in Norquay, Saskatchewan, Canada.

On September 24, 1922, she presented herself at the Port of Entry in Winipeg, Manitoba, and declared her intent to join her sister in Chicago, IL.

The first two pages below document her arrival in New York on the Stockholm. She is on line 19. The next two pages document her permanent entrance into the U S at Winipeg. She is on line 30 (last line used).

The following modern map shows the location of the Brandstorp Farm near Skovde, where Nanna was born. This place of birth is confimed on the Winipeg entry document.
The map on the left shows Skovde's location within Sweden. The map on the right shows Norquay's location within Saskatchewan. I leave it as homework to locate Chicago within the US.
