David Steeves and Janice Teachey were probably married under less than desireable conditions.
Dave was coming from an extremely public divorce, had been involved with another woman prior to his divorce,
and was associated with a third woman after his divorce. I think that none of these were Janice.
In any event, I spoke to Janice and she denied remembering where they married. He was a pilot and flew them somewhere - maybe Ohio. I checked in Ohio and found no record. After the death of Janice her daughter told me she thought they might have been married in Mexico, and then renewed the vows on Coronado Island. I found no record in Los Angeles County (although it might have been a "private" license and the county chose to be coy). As of now I am unsure how to look in Mexico. |
