We learned of David in conversations with Victoria Jacobson.
His existence was corroborated by findings in city directories from 1906 and 1916.
According to Victoria, he attended Yale and rode there on his bicycle. In conversations with Yale they reported no such student found. According to Victoria, he got pneumonia and died young. This explains his absense from 1920 and subsequent censuses. I find no death record in CT State Records. I have visited Bridgeport, and found nothing there under "J" (maybe Hagopian?). At this time this is sufficiently obscure to be classified as a Brick Wall. |
