I initially assumed that Robert had produced one son. This was based upon the inscription on his tombstone "Beloved Father From Your Son". However, when the divorce results were obtained, they indicated no children of the marriage. I have, furthermore, had no success finding any additional reference to a son. I have therefore updated my records to reflect no children for Robert. 2026JUL02: I found his obituary and it names one son! This led to finding a birthdate in public records indices. Son was born after separation but before divorce was final! Not clear why not in divorce, but most likely a different mother.
