In processing CNMR death record #52 for 1873, we found that this Anna Lucia had different parents then the wife of Giuseppe Carlucci. We also found that we already had a death record for his wife back in 1848! It seemed likely that we had conflated two Anna Lucia Cappabianca's.

We have no birth records for either Anna or Giuseppe, and we have no marriage record for them. (We have assumed that the marriage occurred during the "black out" period of 1815-1816.) We do have birth records for 8 children born to this couple, so the couple clearly existed. Review of the children found that one child, Leonardo Carlucci, survived to maturity and was married twice - the second coming AFTER 1848. Re-examination of this second marriage record found that his father was recorded as deceased but his mother was still alive. This suggests that the 1873 death record is the correct record for Giuseppe's wife, and that the 1848 record is for a different Anna Lucia. I have therefore created a new person record for the Anna who died in 1848 assigned her to the proper parents. I have also assigned that death event and its documentation to the new Anna. I have created a new death event for Giuseppe's wife and have also corrected her parents to favor the information on that death record.

[NOTE: my indexing of the 1848 death does not record any spousal information. It would further clarify the evidence if I re-visited that record, but it is not available on-line (pre-1865) and I do not currently plan to visit the LDS library for confirmation.]
