I cannot find this census entry. I have tried my most clever searches without success. I give up and declare "no census entry" for this person. A small reward for the first to prove me wrong. In 1920 wife Frances is living alone in Corcoran and listed as divorced. Corcoran seems tied to the Owens clan via sister Lillie Mayer, so it is likely the family went there before the divorce. He died in L A County in 1927 and obit says 4 years at that location. I suspect a lone John Lewis slipped under the census radar. (Interestingly, his obit lists survival by his widow!)
