STEEVES Arnold J. Steeves, age 71, of Frankfort since 1975, previously of Hazel Crest passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2006. 

Born in Bridgeport, he retired from Ideal Box Co. in Chicago, was co-owner of a Midas franchise in Bourbonnais, 
member of Prestwick Country Club and graduated from Indiana University where he played football from 1954 through 
1958 and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. 

He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Sue Steeves (Unger); two sons, Guy (Susie) Steeves and Doug Steeves; 
two daughters, Shelly (Joe) Clayton and Cara (Tony) Baffo; 11 grandchildren, Joel, Chad, Mitch, Reed, Claudia, Kenton,
Lauren, Teddi, Nina, Lucy and Mia; two sisters, Lorraine Thorpe and Marilyn (Don) Stacey. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Dorothy (Thorpe) Steeves; and a brother, Robert Steeves. 

Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 16, 2006 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way 
(Corner of La Grange Road, South of Lincoln Highway), Frankfort, Ill. 
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Peace Community Church, Frankfort with a visitation
from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort.
